Overview

The compact, industrial-grade ML-02 Albedometer is a cost-efficient solution for high-quality irradiance and albedo measurements.

With ML-02 Pyranomters enclosed within a special housing, bubble level, and 70cm mounting rod, the ML-02 Albedometer is easy to use, integrate, and install with any application. From PV plants with bifacial modules to hydrology weather stations, agriculture research, applications in industrial environments and more, the ML-02 is effective anywhere a compact and efficient sensor is needed.

The small size, high accuracy, quality construction and various mounting accessories available for the ML-02 have even seen them mounted on drones, built into the bodies of solar-powered vehicles, fixed to building exteriors and more.

The ISO 9060:2018 Class C, fast response, light but tough, ML-02 Pyranometer features a mono-silicon detector with a UV-resistant cone-shaped diffuser that helps minimise soiling and water deposition, delivering an excellent cosine response, even at low solar elevation angles.

Made in Japan and manufactured to EKO's strict quality standards, the  ML-02 comes with a 2-year warranty, 2-year recommended recalibration interval, and unique calibration, compliant with international standards, for a cost-effective alternative to larger thermopile-based sensors.

The ML-02 detector has a high analog output and can be combined with our industrial interfaces MC-11, MC-20, A-box and M-box to convert the signal to 4-20mA or Modbus 485 RTUS. A two-channel datalogger L-Box can also be used to log the data from the Albedometer.
